Jacky Slade
Jacky has been a childcare social worker working in fostering and adoption services for many years. She has a long-standing interest in meditation. She has been practicing since the mid 80’s and has completed the postgraduate Diploma to teach Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy at Exeter University.
As part of the Mindful Parenting Community Project, Jacky is committed to supporting the development of mindfulness in adoption and fostering services.
Jacky is currently leading on our Moments of Mass Mindfulness which is an annual event that takes place in May each year to raise awareness of Mental Health Issues within the UK. This is a growing movement with increasing cities getting involved each year in the UK and now in Europe.
